Special Women’s Day Recognition!
During our Women’s Day celebration on Sunday, May 17, we recognized the ladies of our congregation who are 90 years old and older! We were also blessed to have several of these phenomenal women present for today’s service. They were also joined by Rev. Doyle and other ladies of First Baptist for a group photo!
Recognizing Our 2026 Graduates!
Attention Class of 2026 Graduates! We will recognize our Class of 2026 graduates on Sunday, June 14, during our 10:00 a.m. Worship Service. These graduates include high school, college, and postgraduate students only. We are asking our graduates to complete an “About the Graduate” form and return it to the Church Office by Sunday, May 31:

Operation InAsMuch – Saturday, April 18, 2026
For the Spring 2026 event for Operation InAsMuch, members, ministries, and auxiliaries went into the Winston-Salem community and provided service in several locations. “Pots to Plate 2: A Hands-On Gardening Workshop” – Saturday, April 11, 2026
The FBC Health & Wellness Ministry hosted this second workshop, and Deaconess Cynthia Jerald, a master gardener, demonstrated how to plant strawberries, cucumbers, and spinach in pots. Grief and Bereavement Workshop by the Lay Caregivers Ministry – Saturday, March 21, 2026
The Lay Caregivers Ministry held a Grief and Bereavement Workshop conducted by Tara Sessoms, LCMHC, director at the Baptist Children’s Homes of North Carolina, on Saturday, March 21, in the Family Life Center. The workshop was designed to help our church family understand and respond to loss in a Christ-centered way and to explore biblical perspectives on grief.
