Addie C. Morris Club (President: Trina Wilson)
Named for the first missionary in Forsyth County. The organization meets on the first Saturday of each month at 12:00 p.m.
Clothes Closet / Food Pantry (Coordinator: Andrea Bush)
Collects and distributes clothing and food items to those in need at no charge.

Home and Foreign Missionary (President: Sherri Murrell)
The Home and Foreign Missionary Circle is composed of the Senior, Young Adult, and Youth Departments. The Senior Department consists of the Deborah, Esther, Martha, Naomi, and Ruth Missionary Groups, the Beacon Lights, and the Josie White Simon Club. Meetings are held monthly for each group.
The Home and Foreign Missionary Circle meets on the first Saturday of each month at 10:00 a.m.
John Davis Memorial Library (President: Christine Evans)
The John Davis Memorial Library strives to serve as a general resource and information center for our church members and others. The Library is located in Room 112 and the hours of operation are Sunday during church school (9:30 a.m. – 10:45 a.m.) and other times as requested.
Scholarship Committee
First Baptist Church awards several academic scholarships each year, valued at $500 each to those students who are members of the church and meet the necessary qualifications. The church also awards the Atkins-Dillard Music Scholarship and the Shaw University Divinity School Scholarship.
Women’s Progressive Club (President: Alma Peay)
The goal of the Women’s Progressive Club is to further commit to God by service to the church and community.
The club meets on the second Sunday of each month (except July and August) following our morning worship service.

Women’s Service Council (President: Pam Switzer)
The Women’s Service Council strives to honor and abide by its motto, “Service is the price we pay for the space we occupy.” Continuing in this tradition, the members of the organization, as a group and individually, work diligently in efforts on behalf of the church and community. The Council was organized in December 1944.
The Council meets on the third Sunday of each month at 2:00 p.m., except during July and August.
