Dr. Bill Leonard Inducted into Collegium of Scholars at Morehouse College

Our own Dr. Bill Leonard was inducted into the 38th Martin Luther King, Jr. College of Ministers and Laity’s Collegium of Scholars at Morehouse College on Thursday, April 11! The College of Ministers and Laity, according its webpage, “is unique in its juxtaposition of servanthood, scholarship, and leadership as requirements for ministry – whether that ministry is performed through formal religion or any other endeavor.” To view the program from the event, please click here!

Your Donations to the 2023 CROP Hunger Walk!

Because of your donations, First Baptist Church raised $4,053.00 for the 2023 Winston-Salem/Forsyth County CROP Hunger Walk held last October! Donations will be distributed to Church World Service, Crisis Control Ministry, and Sunnyside Ministry! The Winston-Salem Community raised $95,317.03 for these partner agencies, and we were a Top Ten contributor to this effort! We thank you for blessing others toward ending hunger locally and globally!

Cultural Heritage Sunday Dinner – February 25, 2024

Yesterday (February 25), we celebrated Cultural Heritage Sunday during our Morning Worship Service to conclude Black History Month.
