Rev. Samuel J. Doyle Preaching at Calvary Hill Church of Greater Deliverance on Friday, August 7

Calvary Hill Church of Greater Deliverance in Winston-Salem will host their 38th Annual Convention from Friday, August 7 through Sunday, August 9. Rev. Doyle will be the guest speaker for their service on Friday, August 7, at 6:30 p.m. The congregation, ushers, and mass choir of First Baptist Church are also invited to fellowship and worship with them at this blessed service.

We encourage everyone to support the Rowan Baptist Association at its upcoming annual session from Sunday, July 19, through Thursday, July 23, at United Metropolitan Missionary Baptist Church here in Winston-Salem! First Baptist Church is also invited to attend the Moderator’s Banquet at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, July 20, at St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church!

The Youth and Children’s Ministry welcomes everyone’s support for their 2026 school supply drive! Items needed include: How to Donate When you’re in the church, look for these easels in the narthex and the Elevator Lobby with post-it notes. Men’s Health Forum on Saturday, June 27

The Men’s Ministry hosted “A Men’s Health Forum and the Women Who Care for Them” on Saturday, June 27, in the Hedgley Fellowship Hall. Wellness tips and expert speakers were on hand for the event, along with a healthy brunch! Please click here to view the entire elbum!

Recognition of Graduates- June 14, 2026

Special Women’s Day Recognition!

During our Women’s Day celebration on Sunday, May 17, we recognized the ladies of our congregation who are 90 years old and older! We were also blessed to have several of these phenomenal women present for today’s service. They were also joined by Rev. Doyle and other ladies of First Baptist for a group photo!
