WSSU Singing Rams to perform at the Washington National Cathedral on Sunday, February 11

The Winston-Salem State University Choir, known as the Singing Rams, will make history on Sunday, February 11 as the first HBCU choir from North Carolina to perform at the Washington National Cathedral during the Cathedral’s principal Holy Eucharist and Annual HBCU Welcome Sunday. The choir is under the direction of Maestra D’Walla Simmons Burke, and our own Madison Murrell will be part of the ensemble.

The Rev. Dr. Kenyatta Gilbert, Dean and professor of homiletics at Howard University School of Divinity, will preach for this service.

You can find out more information at this link. The service itself can be viewed via the Cathedral’s Holy Eucharist page or its YouTube channel.
